WP 8.2 - Forecasting Tools for Wind Power Plant Operation

To overcome the challenges previously mentioned of increasing wind power penetration in the grid, the
objectives of this work package are:
• Design new real-life, probabilistic forecasting algorithms
• Define data needed
Overall WP 8.2 KPI: Forecast improvement, mainly evaluated with measures used by TP Wind, and which will be in the upcoming EWI Implementation Plan 2013-2015.
